Need more than a "General Awareness" of Information Privacy and Security rules?

Wondering what you can really say, when you can really say it, and who you can safely say it to?  


Then this class is for you: a fast-paced overview of all the UF Privacy Policies for Health Information. Get the facts and have your questions answered.

For: Anyone who routinely handles PHI or has contact with patients, including Clinical Department and Division personnel, Physician Office Managers, and Clinic Administrators, Managers and Staff. This class is required for all new UFP personnel, and is strongly recommended for everyone else.

Pre-requisite: HIPAA & Privacy - General Awareness

Presented by: The UF Privacy Office in conjunction with the University of Florida Physicians orientation program.

Registration is not necessary, but please call Everall Peele, the Privacy Training Coordinator at 352-273-5096 to confirm the time, date and location of the training you would like to attend. Sometimes changes have to be made at the last minute.
